I’m so excited. I found that we have a total of 14 students already joining the Professional Food Styling Program I set up in CACS. I will be shopping for their kits this weekend so I’ve canvassed around for the necessary stuff they’ll be needing.
After many tweaks in the program, things are all in place. Here’s a sneak peek at the stuff we’re going to be doing:
DAY 1 β Saturday
Introduction / Equipment used by a stylist / photographer
The Ethics of a Photo Shoot
Assignment of a Client for Individual and Group Project
Beverage
Soups
DAY 2 β Sunday
Poultry and Meat
DAY 3 β Saturday
Breakfast (Cereal, Egg, Etc.)
Pasta & Rice
Dairy Products
DAY 4 β Sunday
Salad
The Treatment of Fruits and Vegetables
Ice Cream
Sandwiches
DAY 5 β Saturday
Individual Work: Styling of a Corporate Client
Interpret Print Ad
Pre-Production for Group Work
Lecture of an Established Food Stylist
DAY 6 β Sun.Β Β Β Β Β Β Finals: Photo Shoot
I’m hoping the exercises I made for the students are going to be both fun and extremely challenging. I’ll be posting the class’ progress as we go. π
