Professional Food Styling Program opening on April!

Hi guys,
I’m posting the brochure of the Professional Food Styling Program which will open on April 4, 2009.
We have 6 whole days of grueling styling activities (yes, even some students started complaining because they had LOTS to do) so come over to CACS to reserve your slot today.
There are limited slots since I want to be able to be totally hands-on to help you with your work.

THE PROFESSIONAL FOODSTYLING PROGRAM
The Professional Foodstyling Program is the most extensive hands-on program in the country that lays the foundation for students to enter the professional field of food styling. Our individual and group works have been designed to give our students a thorough foundation in food styling comparable to other classes from other parts of the globe. Learn the secrets to keeping food looking fresh for the camera. Lectures include the business side of food styling and the process of becoming a successful food stylist by authorities in the Food Styling Industry. Enrollees should preferably have a good background on culinary & pastry skills.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES

Introduction / Equipment used by a stylist / photographer
The Ethics of a Photo Shoot
Assignment of a Client for Individual and Group Project
Beverage
Soups

DAY 2 – Sun.

All about Poultry and Meat

DAY 3 – Sat.

Breakfast (Cereal, Egg, Etc.)
Cake
Pasta & Rice
Dairy Products

DAY 4 – Sun.

Salads
The Treatment of Fruits and Vegetables
Demo: Ice Cream
Sandwiches

DAY 5 – Sat.

Individual Work: Free-hand food styling
Interpret A Print Ad
Pre-Production for Group Work
Lecture of an Established Food Stylist

DAY 6 – Sun.

Final Group Work : Styling for A Corporate Client

Photo Shoot with a Professional Food Photographer

FEE: P 55,000 the fee includes a food styling kit, apron and all materials
CLASS DAY: SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS
CLASS TIME: 10:00 – 4:00 P.M.Β  OPENING ON APRIL 4, 2009
