Giannina Gonzalez is a Manila-based food stylist who has been working in the food and advertising industry since 2006. With nearly two decades of experience, she has collaborated with photographers, advertising agencies, production teams, and brands to create visually compelling food imagery for print, video, digital campaigns, packaging, and editorial projects.
Her work focuses on bringing food to life on camera—carefully balancing aesthetics, authenticity, and technical precision. From intricate plating to the small details that make a dish look naturally delicious, Giannina approaches each project with a deep understanding of how food behaves under studio conditions and how it translates visually through the lens.
Originally trained as a chef, Giannina brings a strong culinary foundation to her styling work. This background allows her to understand ingredients, cooking processes, and food structure at a deeper level, ensuring that every dish not only looks beautiful but also remains true to how it should naturally appear.
Over the years, she has worked on a wide range of commercial and editorial productions across the Philippines, helping local and international brands communicate their stories through food. Her experience spans everything from large-scale advertising shoots to smaller creative collaborations.
Beyond styling, Giannina is also the founder of Whole Pet Kitchen, a pioneering natural pet food company in the Philippines, reflecting her long-standing passion for nutrition and food integrity.
Her approach to food styling is rooted in respect for ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the belief that great food imagery should feel both beautiful and real.
