One of the greatest reasons why we enjoy Baguio so much is that it has so much fresh vegetables and fruits. SM Baguio is totally full on a daily basis, and especially during our Halloween weekend.Today’s shopping consisted of the usual needs like toilet paper, some greens, some meats, butter, coal, ice and firewood…but here are 3 wonderful things we found at SM baguio:
1) Organic produce by a cooperative in Benguet! They have different kinds of spinach called calumay and talinum. They even had a bag of Pako which I am totally addicted to.
2) Frooooog! Yes, they had skinned frogs. But since my brother had brought so many meats already, we didn’t really know if we can use the frog…but it was interesting to see it.
3) Vacuum sealed Papaitan mix. Sorry guys, I bought this but I forgot to take a picture in my excitement. Nothing beats fresh organ meats, but this one was a good alternative since the tripe was already cleaned.
Before we used to head out to Session and the palengke, but SM Baguio gave us a quick-fix and one stop shop for everything we need if we don’t feel like going all the way to the wet market.
